Supporting Your Body's Natural Ability to Heal
Your body is constantly adapting to the stresses of everyday life. Tension, pain, or feeling overwhelmed by daily life are signs things aren’t working as they should. Loss of function doesn’t usually happen overnight, but it is often hard to pinpoint where the build up has gone wrong.
At Soul Care, chiropractic care is centred around supporting your nervous system & the connection between your mind and body. Strengthening this connection allows your body to move, adapt & recover as it’s designed to.
Our role is to help restore ease and balance to this system. Using specific, tailored techniques, we support your body in reconnecting and functioning the way it was designed to.

Your first visit is a chance for us to understand both your body and your story. Your chiropractor will take a detailed health history and perform a physical examination to see how your body is moving, adapting and functioning. In some cases, further tests such as X-rays may be recommended if more information is needed.
If your body is ready, your chiropractor may begin gentle care during this visit using techniques that best suit your nervous system and preferences.
At your Report of Findings, your chiropractor will walk you through what they’ve discovered, explain whether they believe chiropractic care can help, and talk about what you can expect moving forward. If we don’t believe chiropractic is the right fit for your situation, we’ll also guide you toward other options that may better support you.
From there, each session is guided by what your body needs on the day. Care may include manual adjustments (the pops and clicks), mobilisations, specialised instruments, or reflex-based techniques—chosen to support your nervous system and help your body move and function more easily.

Not always! Cavitations (the pop or click sounds) are just one possible result of a specific type of adjustment. Manual adjustments that create these sounds aren’t right for everyone, and not every joint moves in a way that produces them.
Many techniques—such as using positional blocks or a table that gently drops away—can improve joint function without any sound at all. If hearing those pops and clicks is something you prefer, all of our chiropractors are skilled manual adjusters and know when and where these techniques may be most beneficial.
At Soul Care, we focus more on restoring connection and function in the body rather than making it “sound good.” Your chiropractor will use different tests—such as checking muscle function, range of motion, or kinesiology-based reflexes—to see how your body is responding, rather than relying on a sound alone.

Chiropractic care works to support clearer communication between your brain and body by improving spinal function. For this reason, adjustments can take many different forms.
You can think of an adjustment like switching the lights back on in your nervous system. Everything is still there—you can still move around the house in the dark—but when the lights are on, it becomes much easier to move, navigate and respond to what’s around you.
An adjustment gives your body new information. Reconnection to change the patterns of your nervous system. All of this is designed to help you move with ease, experiences less pain, sleep deeper, feel stronger, more supported, and can carry life with a little more lightness.
